Each year hundreds of words are dropped from the English language.
Old words, wise words, hard-working words. Words that once led meaningful lives but now lie unused, unloved and unwanted.
Today 90% of everything we write is communicated by only 7,000 words.
You can change all that. Help save the words!

Good profession to get into or no?
I have Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science, and I graduated with honors so I could probably get into a decent Master’s program. But is it worth it? I’ve just heard that the job market is super tough and probably won’t be getting any better. Any insight?
Thanks!

"Lessons" from Romance Novels
This topic comes up at work from time to time, usually when I get a major case of the giggles while processing the donated paperbacks for the “uncatalogued” rack. The list actually got fairly long, the other day, so I thought I’d finally share. So without further ado… Ten “Truths” Learned from Romance Paperbacks
